MUNNIA'S STORY
Munnia has had a hard life, her husband died some years ago and her children have moved away. She has lost fingers on both hands because her leprosy wasn’t caught in time. Later, she also developed cataracts and was unable to see clearly. Recently, thanks to an operation at The Leprosy Mission’s Muzzaffarpur Hospital in India, Munnia was delighted to report, ‘I can see again -it’s a miracle.‘
