Ranjana's STORY
Do you see how Ranjana is smiling despite her bandaged hand? She was diagnosed with leprosy when she was 11 years old and has been treated at Anandaban Hospital in Nepal on several occasions. She had reconstructive surgery on both hands a few years ago and is now back because she has a burn ulcer on her hand that won’t heal.
Back home, her family are discriminated against because she has leprosy. She’s missing them but she knows they have to work and they can’t travel to the hospital to visit her. This gift will pay for food for someone like Ranjana in hospital for an entire month, lifting their spirits.
